Key Identifying Characteristics: Waxy, often light green foliage; leaves clasp the stem (Dalmatian); linear leaves (yellow), "snap-dragon-like" flowers

 

Reproduction: Vegetative and seed

 

Seed Longevity: 10 years

 

Native To: Southeastern Europe

 

Effective Control Methods: No extremely effective method yet known, particularly for yellow toadflax. Pulling or digging over a period of years can have good effects; herbicide is often effective; grazing with goats may be effective over a period of years.
